Faith, is the ONLY Way to Please God. Faith is more than a casual “I believe”. Faith is a stance, a firm position, a conviction of the heart. Faith is not faith unless it’s all you hang on to. It is akin to courage and standing up for what you believe. Faith is to believe what you don’t see. The reward of faith is you get to see what you believed.
If you mix the Word of God with your faith and your voice, you will have an explosion of life and promises. The Lord loves you to remind Him of His Word, it shows you have faith in it. It’s a positive declaration of your faith and your knowledge of the Word which pleases God! God has given us abundant promises in His Word, and when these promises are activated by our faith, God will always be true to His Word.
The promise, much like a seed, has power but you have to add water, your faith. Add faith to God’s Word and you’ll ignite the possibilities of God for you. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Ro 10:17). That second “hearing” in the above verse should be spelled “heeding”. It’s not the same word in the original Greek. The first word refers to HEARING, but the second “hearing” in Greek refers to an action, as in HEEDING, doing. Remember, faith without works is dead. (Jam 2:26).
Jesus made a clear distinction between those who hear only and those who act out their faith. He made it clear that unless you DO (heed, act on) the Word, your house will fall (Mt 7:24-27).
Faith has to be ACTIVE to be alive. Faith is motion-activated. And it puts you in the right position to receive from God.
COMMIT to activate your faith, EVERYDAY.
Let’s COMMIT to make the following verses OURS
