Your Faith without works is Dead

Jesus said that hearing His Word only will not transform us, but it is in the DOING and walking out His Word that makes it work its power in us (Mt 7:24-27). You cannot truly experience the fullness of faith unless you walk it out. If a child never exercises, he can’t grow. One serving of God’s Word a week cannot suffice to your spiritual growth. Sorry. You’ve got to commit to more than that.

They are so many good teachers of the Word online, and aside from your daily personal intake of God’s word, you need to listen to and STUDY from solid Word teachers who will challenge you to LIVE OUT your faith. Get a premium version of YouTube, so that you do not have to deal with the advertisements. It’ll be the best $10 a month you can invest in your spiritual growth. And, STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2Tim 2:15).

Let’s COMMIT to make the following verses OURS

Mt 7:24-27 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the ROCK: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the SAND: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell and great was its fall.

Jam 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Jn 13:17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Isa 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

Ps 119:34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Jn 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Jn 14:21,23 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”

Jn 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

Jam 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

1Jn 2:5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

2Jn 1:6a This is love, that we walk according to His commandments.

1Sam 15:22-23a Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
