Do you KNOW how to OPERATE it?

We weren’t “manufactured” with the ability to direct our own life (see Jer 10:3). Take the microwave for instance, it cannot determine on its own how much time it must be ON in order to cook, defrost or warm up whatever you put in. That decision has to be made by the person putting the food in the microwave. that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps” (Jer 10:23)

So many people are DESPERATE to find out what the will of God is for their life. They’re desperate to know  what’s their DESTINY and the PURPOSE of their life?

The answer is pretty simple. It was spelled out in the New Testament by Paul when he said, “God hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began” (2 Tim 1:9). We are meant to let Christ live in us, and take control of our life. “Christ in me”. Yes, we all have a “destiny”, a “calling” or a “purpose”. God’s purpose is for us to be saved through Christ and He’s calling is to live Christ’s teachings.

Jesus even said “in order to find your life, you have to deny yourself”. In other words you have got to lay down your life, dying to yourself, and then you will find your true purpose and destiny. Every parent understands that principle. It’s embedded in our being. Parents die to themselves DAILY for their children.

In a nutshell it means that unless you let Jesus fully live in you and be at the “steering wheel” of your life, you can’t really find your destiny. Unless you take on the character and the mission of Jesus, you can’t be everything you were created to be.

Lord Byron said “I have drunk of every fount of pleasure and quaffed every cup of Fame and yet I die of thirst.” He died, never having been able to determine the real meaning and purpose for his life. How sad…

But when you’re willing to live out the truth that Jesus laid out for us, you find happiness, fulfillment, peace, joy, love, and all the wonderful things that we all seek after our whole life. It’s not in trying to seek happiness for ourselves that we find it. Love was not put in our hearts to stay, love isn’t love until we give it away. You can’t find happiness sitting around and expecting it to come to you, you have to go out and give it to others and then you find it.

So while it is awesome to know the message of the Gospel unless you actually LIVE IT, and die to yourself, and share the truth with others regularly as an ongoing mission in life, YOU CAN’T FIND YOUR DESTINY, nor your purpose

All your gifts and talents, all your potential, will come to life as soon as you YIELD your life to the will of God. How cool is that? And while it is a little humbling for those who wish they could govern their own lives by themselves, on the other hand it is quite liberating, when you realize that all you have to do is yield and surrender. What a freedom… “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes” (Ps 118:8,9).

The greatest men in the Bible are guys who made terrible mistakes and realize that they needed God. As long as you let God run your life you’re bound to win. Jesus said “My yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:30). So if you sometimes think life is hard, consider the way of the wicked. That’s really hard.

So there is no need for you to be looking for acceptance by the majority. The majority is for the most part always wrong. Unless you live your life as a lightbulb, shining Jesus everywhere you go, you cannot be in full reflection of the will of God for you.

The devil’s children are brain-polluted by the world system, whereas God’s children are brainwashed by the Word of God.

God is not in favor of democracy at all because the righteous are always in the minority. If you are following God you may not be following the proper way. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12)

It’s the unexpected, the improper, the unconventional and untraditional, the unorthodox and unceremoniously, contrary to man’s natural expectation that you can expect when following God. God loves to do things contrary to the way we think He ought to do. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Cor 1:18).

God is not always following what we’d consider the most logical approach; “All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.” (Pro 16:2). God does the unusual, the supernatural, the miraculous, contrary to natural expectation. He can get some of his greatest victories out of seeming defeats.

God’s idea of goodness is godliness – – a sinner who knows who he needs God. If you value the praise of man you’d better catch it quick while it’s passing cuz it’s soon gone. Only God remembers. The world says seeing is believing, but God says BELIEVING is SEEING.

If you want to know how much you’re worth, just think about how much Christ has paid to redeem you and reconcile you to God and to His will for you.

You’re extremely valuable in God’s eyes. So, just DARE to follow Jesus. Don’t worry about what you’ve been or what you have done. God took a man who was a murderer and made him the apostle Paul. He took a woman who was one of the biggest harlot in town and made her one of Jesus most favorite disciples. He took an adulterer and made him into one the greatest Kings who’s ever lived, a man after God’s own Heart, David.

God can take the weakest things to confound the mighty and the foolish things to bring to not the wisdom of man of the wise. Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children” (Matthew 11:25).

And he often works in a very mysterious way the wonders of his love to perform. ” A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way? (Proverbs 20:24). “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa 55:8,9).
