It’s UNLOVING to NOT Tell People.

If you witnessed an accident right in front of you that would cause the oncoming traffic to pile up and many could die, it would be a crime NOT to stop and warn the oncoming drivers. Wouldn’t?

It’s kind of the same once you’re saved. You’ve been delivered from spiritual death. And yet there’s a whole bunch of people that will pile up at death’s door and not have been saved, ad all the while we knew the Truth and the Way to be born again and saved.

One of the most sobering Scriptures in the Bible to me is Ez 3:17-19: “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at My mouth, and give them warning from Me. When I say unto the wicked, ‘Thou shalt surely die’; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

God has called us to represent Him everywhere we go. God is sending us out as ambassadors to tell others about His love and forgiveness. We don’t even have to be sales people to invite people into God’s family, because people the world over are looking for the same inner longings –meaning to life and truth. So, when you tell others about Jesus, you’re offering them something they’re already looking for. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (Jn 8:32). The Gospel is “good news” and it’ll bring clarity and meaning to people’s lives.

Is anyone going to be in heaven because you stopped and warned them? When Jesus started His ministry He called people by saying, “Come follow Me and I’ll make you fishers of men (Mt 4:19). And when He ended His ministry on earth, He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you” (Mt 28:19).

Follow the first and last words of Jesus, and people will one day say to you in heaven, “Thank you! I’m in heaven today because of you.”

I visited a missionary in Nicaragua recently and he was telling me, “You know, our biggest need is not finances, it’s people who will be willing to come down here and help us disciple these converts.”

God help us all. We have a responsibility. We’re all called to be a light. We’re all called to be ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven. In fact, we’re supposed to be an ongoing “living” sacrifice. It says “DAILY” after “take up your cross”.Then said Jesus unto His disciples, ‘If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, daily, and follow Me'” (Mt 16:24).  If we’re not willing to take up our cross daily and come after Him, we’re not worthy of Him! Let’s face it, Jesus has done so much for us! We are so blessed. We owe it to everyone we meet to tell them of the joy that we have found in Jesus!  We all have a testimony.
