War Terms

We, as Christians, can easily forget that we are at War. You say, “but I thought the war was won by Jesus”. Yes, but we’re still in the world even though not of the world. And the devil is still the prince of this world, and he tries to hinder us from living out our faith. So the life of a Christian is really the life of a militant soldier. We are to be vigilant, on guard, and constantly aware of the devices of the enemy.

Even though Jesus won the war, the only way for us to walk victoriously and triumphantly is by enforcing His victory on the devil, everywhere we go; by destroying the works of the devil with the Truth of God’s Word.

  • We speak our faith in victory with authority and boldness.
  • We keep our thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ’s Word.
  • We focus only on the good things, the things that are true, pure, of a good report, etc.
  • We shun the bad news, we don’t take in the main media news, the social media trends,
  • We resist the pharmaceutical lies and fears.
  • We stand against the lies of evolution.
  • We stand against the “politically correct” lingo.
  • We are constantly on guard so that we do not take in the lies of the enemy which would otherwise corrupt us from the inside out.
